Congratulations on your new PlantClamp!
Stainless hardware is provided – Four #1 Phillips screws per PlantClamp are simply screwed into your enclosure roof at least 5 inches away from the front with the thumbscrew facing down and toward the front. PlantClamps designed to be placed on the left side of the enclosure feature a machined indicator dot on the left hand (LT) side when looking at them in the “installed” position with thumbscrew facing the floor justified toward the front of the enclosure. The right side PlantClamp features a machined indicator dot on the right side (RT) when in the “installed” position. The PlantClamps are left & right-justified due to the groove that is designed with rounded corners in the stem installation direction, and with sharp corners to grab when the stem is pulled in the reverse direction.
Installing hanging plant
To install/remove Pangea hanging plant stem: loosen your thumbscrew enough that the stem easily slides into the groove up to the recommended depth in the photo below. Once placed simply snug the thumbscrew onto the stem to prohibit any movement in and out. To remove the stem from the PlantClamp for cleaning/exchange simply unscrew the thumbscrew and remove the stem by pulling gently away from the PlantClamp. The thumbscrew should be loose enough that removal requires no pulling effort and is still threaded into the PlantClamp base. Easy as that!
